Negative to positive…
I don’t normally post pictures alone but really doesn’t this quote from an amazing sportsman just speak volumes into the correct mindset for us, especially when so many people feel the need to put down our endeavours or new business ideas or ventures? How to find plan B? What is MLM?
So you are in the rat race, working to someone elses plan A.
How and what is your plan B?
In the current economic climate, I think you will agree most people could do with a plan B, have you got one? There are so many options, saving schemes, plans, insurances, get rich quick schemes etc…
There is a solution that can be used for an extra bit of cash each month to a life changing amounts each month, there are many companies and services offering these solutions… so I hear you ask… is it for me? which is right for me?
I work full time…. I have a busy lifestyle… I don’t have any spare time… I’m not sure what to do …. How can I learn new skills? etc
Is it because some people do not, can not or will not see there is a choice for them to make a difference?
On the plus side the MLM industry is worth literally billions per year, there are some multi national, multi award winning, truly debt free companies offering people life changing opportunities to create and change their own futures.
How can this be my plan B? I hear you ask, well imagine a business opportunity that is affordable, beneficial, gives you the chance to work with positive people (makes a break from the day to day rat race eh?), provides a product that has been heavily invested in and a comprehensive training package to support you, gives you great incentives and encouragement at each stage of your business and genuinely provides an escape route from your day to day JOB (Just Over Broke) oh and most importantly has no pressure and allows you to do it around all of your current family/work commitments. Sounds too good to be true? Maybe or maybe not…it’s no miracle if you are not prepared to give it a go… if you are willing to make a real effort it can and will change your life, lifestyle, leisure time, holidays and anything else you want to change!
Call to action :- Just have a think, are you happy with the way things are? Have you any dreams or goals that you think are unreachable? Is there some things you want to do? Can your current JOB or situation accomodate these goals?
I know that i’ve made the right decision I am lucky that I have a day JOB that I love, I also have a plan B that I love too… do you?
I’d be happy to help or answer any questions or comments you may have, please feel free I also offer help and support to those just starting up in their own home based business.
Many thanks for your time in reading my blog and as a special bonus for your time I have some fantastic free training on growing your home based network marketing / mlm business for you here
Negative to positive…
What about obstructions?
So you have thought about your goals, got your business… what about when things get rough?
This quote holds a lot of truth in all our plans, in all our lives, everyone at some point of their life experiences rough times, problems, obstacles and negativity from others.
These ‘ obstacles’ have a knack of grinding our spirit down, slowing our momentum and hindering our tentative steps out of our comfort zone. Unfortunately a lot of the time when we feel we are gaining momentum and plucking up the courage to step out of our zone is the perfect time when things get hard.
What do we do? What should we do? What can we do to make a positive change?
I’ll answer these questions in turn,
What do we do? - Well, I know what I have done and through observation I have seen what a lot of people do when times get tough when they are starting out or re-starting a venture, and unfortunately the first thing people do is revert back to old ways, old habits or a comfortable state – this is not a useful option.
What should we do? – As a rule we ‘should’ keep on, this is not always easy, but even the smallest steps towards our goals can motivate us, especially if we can distinguish that we have made progress. This is a reason why it is good to write down our goals, to make them tangible.
What can we do to make a positive change? - The main thing we should do is keep the momentum of our positive actions, sometimes obstacles appear to challenge us or to show us that maybe that route/plan/path may not be the right one – through this we can take a small step back and review our goals, look over our plans, focus on our motivations, reformulate an action plan and always, always do something, immediately no matter how small. This allows you to show despite what ever happens if you take a step forwards then you are heading the right way.
Just to finish, obviously there will be challenges, the wonderful joy of achievement of your goals would not be as sweet without challenges, the excitement of expectation of what else you are capable of when you attain a goal would not be as exhilerating without the hard times, therefore when you take time to write your goals and to sit and make your action plan – just make a little allowance of time to build in a plan B just in case, or a plan C, D (there are many letters left) just be aware that the valleys will be hard, but the view from the top of the mountain of achievement will be more than precious when you get there. A little video will explain in a much better and more eloquent way than I could from one of the most inspirational speakers and businessmen that I have listened to Mr Jim Rohn:
For the fans of the Disney film ‘Finding Nemo’ you will know this, it is so true, just hum it to yourself when those negative people start commenting and passing judgment about your ”new venture”
Just keep swimming – if you keep on you will get there.
Thank you once again for taking the time to read my blog, and thank you for all who have left great comments for me.

The most important steps you can take to make a difference.
Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible.
Tony Robbins
Take the first step in faith. You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.
Martin Luther King, Jr.
Goals are the key to making a real lasting difference, it is so easy to get excited about a new venture or enterprise, but what is going to keep you motivated when the clouds come in, when things don’t seem to be working?
The thing that makes the difference are your goals they will give you the drive the passion to keep plugging on, to keep doing those small things that will make a difference.
What you have to remember is that everyone has experienced problems, dissatisfaction and disappointment the ONE thing that differentiates the successful from the majority is they focussed on their goals and kept going towards them no matter what.
My call to action for you today is simple, very, very simple.
Every day take a few minutes to write down your goals, those things that you really want and really know will make a difference in your life. Take a little time to seperate them into short term medium term and long term or alternatively goals that you can reasonably attain within 6-12 months, 3-5 years and 10 years plus.
Each day review these goals, determine what minute steps you need to take towards each goal and make sure each step is measurable so you can monitor your progress. There maybe times when the goals you have set become vague or insignificant – change them to something that you feel a drive for. The drive is the key, the drive is the ‘why’ you keep going, the ‘why’ you keep on keeping on.
When did you last review or make your goals – take time to, after all you deserve it.
There are many different ways to set goals, please feel free to drop me a line or join my page to share ideas!
Then you need a method or a tool to realise your goals, to utilise with your preferred opportunity. The beauty of network marketing is that it can work around your present commitments, there are many different businesses that enable people true financial freedom – the one single theme that runs through all successful network marketers are their goals and that they have utilised a tool or method that helps them along what is your chosen tool?
If I can help please feel free to drop me a line.

Every journey begins with a single step…
This is my single step, right now, this moment and the choices I make in this moment are pivotal… as they are to all of us.
Why does this seem such an abstract view? Why do we over complicate things?
In this short post I offer a few words of advice for others who may be in the same boat as me or who may be contemplating a change in life.
I have to be honest and admit within my business I have been guilty of making excuses for not doing anything with my business, I’ve also been busy doing nothing searching the ‘gurus’ for that magic key that makes things happen overnight…. as you probably already know (and just in case you don’t) there is no magic key, magic script, magic wand that will turn your business, BUT there is a lot to confuse you and almost paralyse you into inaction, however, one thing that I have just found that makes a difference, this one thing is consistent ACTION!
I have been involved in network marketing on and off for about 5 years, I have worked a day JOB alongside my network marketing businesses. I have seen many people who have found great success and life changing incomes from network marketing… and I have also seen many fall by the wayside.
I have also listened to many great inspirational speakers over the 5 years I’ve known about this great business. There is a huge amount of wisdom out there, some of the speakers are household names some are successful business people within their own network marketing company, some speak extremely simply some use more complex language, some are able to speak to your heart some to your brain and some speak to both!
I recently missed a national meeting with my primary network marketing company where Darren Hardy spoke, he had such a huge effect on my business partners who I’ve seen quoting him on Facebook I could see this guy has something to say… I got a little intrigued and got a copy of the audiobook, which I’ve been listening to – Part way though chapter 2 – many things have suddenly made sense, simply and perfectly put the key to anything is….
Consistent positive action… simple eh?
Ok before I fall into the trap of the ‘gurus’ I’ll explain what I’ve done and what I will be doing.
Firstly get rid of all the rubbish that doesn’t make sense to you, you can only grow with something that makes sense and strikes a chord with you.
Secondly focus on a few small things that you can do consistently, In Darren Hardy’s book ‘The Compound Effect’ will explain in better detail (I recommend this book to anyone starting up a home based business) But in short Darren states that small actions over time will make a huge difference in your life.
Thirdly get yourself a mastermind group, a few people who are positive and driven and know what they want so that you will keep on your track to success. I am luck to have many great people who give advice and ideas (may I take a moment to thank all the people who have given me advice and the value if their time! It hasn’t fallen on deaf ears.)
Fourth, keep up to date with latest training in your specific area of business or area which you would like to use to promote your business – I strongly believe Facebook is an awesome networking tool for all business owners and I have some great beginners Facebook training, that I’ve been watching and using from experts in the field of network marketing you can follow the link to get you started (Oh and it’s free!!)
Finally remind yourself of your reasons for doing your business, and the ‘why’ you want to make your business work, make a commitment, a promise to yourself that no matter what excuses pop into your head, no matter what obstacles get in your way that you will keep to your plan of consistent positive action, even if you just start with one thing to do each day… trust me it will make the difference!

Get Mean – Step 4 – NOW!
“With the past, I have nothing to do;
nor with the future. I live now.”
~Ralph Waldo Emerson~
Get Mean Step 4- Now.
I hope you have enjoyed my past 3 steps in my get mean series, I just hope that someone somewhere has got just 1 positive thing from my posts. If that is the case I have been successful in my attempt with this series.
I now want to finish my series with a list of do’s and dont’s I will start with the do’s
- Do what you want to do NOW
- Do what you have learnt NOW
- Do what you feel motivated to do NOW
- Do what feels right, NOW
Here are the dont’s
- Don’t stop doing something you enjoy
- Dont spend your time looking into the past or into the future – You must remember the here and now, this is where you can make a difference!
- Don’t let the dreamstealers stop you – go for it, if it doesn’t work, learn from it, dust yourself off and try again!
- If it doesn’t feel right stop it NOW!
Now is the time to make a change, it is all to easy to get swept away with daily life and put things aside for a while, but when you do put those things aside they lose a certain amount of motivation and power with you and you lose an enthusiasm that you only really tend to have when something is fresh, new and exciting.
Going back to overview my previous steps, and I hope they all fall into place for you now.
- Motivation – Find something that motivates you into action – music, quote, film or person etc.
- Education – Learn while you are in that open and motivated state.
- Action – Act on what you have learnt, do something with the knowedge you have gained, you might not be an expert but every expert started at square one some even started behind what we would call square one!
- Now – Act now before that fire of excitement and enthusiasm starts to dwindle, act now before the negative comments from others start to peck at your confidence and most of all act now, because of not only what have you got to lose… but think of all you can gain!
There are a couple of quotes I would like to finish with, the first being “opportunity is now here or nowhere.”
Are you truly ready to make a change and a difference in your life and business but most of all are you ready to GET MEAN.
I would love to hear feedback of what you think of this series, please feel free to share or comment.
